I’m a clinical psychologist who works with children, teens, and young adults using a warm, developmentally informed, and neurodiversity-affirming approach.

I offer virtual therapy, parent coaching, and targeted developmental consultations.

Welcome

About Me

I approach clients with warmth, curiosity, and a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming lens. My goal is to help clients feel safe and capable, and to support caregivers in feeling informed, empowered, and understood. I am committed to culturally sensitive, responsive therapy, and as a bilingual English and Arabic speaker, I have a particular interest in providing culturally attuned care to Arab, Middle Eastern, and North African families.

I have experience across inpatient, outpatient, and hospital settings, offering evidence-based therapy, parent coaching, developmental support, and neuropsychological assessment. I work with children, adolescents, and young adults navigating ADHD, autism, learning differences, anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma histories, chronic medical illnesses, and emotional or behavioral challenges.

I completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Boston and my clinical internship and fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. During my fellowship, I developed further expertise in early childhood development and infant mental health through the Cardiac Neurodevelopment Program.

Services

Virtual Individual Therapy

I provide evidence-based therapy tailored to each child using approaches such as CBT, DBT skills, ACT, and Exposure and Response Prevention. I can support clients with concerns related to depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, autism, emotional regulation, and school or life stressors.

I also offer executive functioning coaching for neurodivergent children and teens, focusing on practical skills like organization, planning, task initiation, time management, and building flexible routines.

Virtual Parent Coaching

I help parents understand their child’s behavior, strengthen emotional connection, and respond with confidence during challenging moments. Coaching can include behavior support plans and guidance for developmental concerns such as speech, motor skills, and emotional regulation.

I also offer brief, targeted developmental consultations for families seeking short-term support and clear next steps—ideal for parents with specific questions about their child's development or behavior who don’t need ongoing therapy.

Neuropsychological assessment clinic (Amman, Jordan)

A few times a year, I offer in-person developmental, cognitive, autism, and ADHD evaluations in Amman, Jordan. Families receive a comprehensive assessment, written report, and tailored recommendation. This is in collaboration with Al-Masar Child Development Center.

Consultations and speaking engagements

I offer consultation to schools, clinicians, and organizations on child development, behavior strategies, and neurodiversity-affirming practice. I also provide workshops and trainings on supporting children’s emotional, developmental, and behavioral needs, tailored to your team. Previous workshop topics include: Positive Behavior Supports and trainings on culturally responsive care for early childhood professionals.

 FAQs

  • Our services are currently self-pay. For U.S. clients, I am not yet credentialed with insurance and am considered an out-of-network provider. At the end of each month, I provide documentation that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement; I strongly recommend checking with your insurance company to confirm your out-of-network benefits.

Because I work with families across different countries, I take location and financial circumstances into consideration and can discuss flexible payment options when appropriate.

  • I currently offer services virtually.

The only exception is a limited number of in-person assessment clinics held a few times per year in Amman, Jordan.
